Payment Options

For items ordered through our Etsy storefront, we are able to accept Paypal, credit and debit cards, and Etsy gift cards. We take cash or VISA, Master Card, and AMEX through Square for items purchased directly in person from us.

Shipping Options

Depending on the item's size, weight, and material, it will be shipped in a gift box or envelope handcrafted from designer paper, ready to be given as a gift. We use padded mailers and ship items out within 2 business days of receiving your payment, excluding Sundays or Canadian Statutory Holidays. You will receive a confirmation email from us once your order has been shipped. Shipping of Custom Orders is a subject for negotiation, usually within 10 business days.

We use Canada Post as our primary courier, with an average delivery time of 6-10 business days. Our default shipping charges do not include insurance, and we are not responsible for lost or damaged mail. If you would like to purchase insurance, faster shipping, or an alternate shipping service, please let us know. The customer is responsible for customs fees and all other applicable taxes. If you live in the Toronto, Ontario area and would like to bypass shipping costs by picking up your order directly from our studio or one of the local shops featuring our work, please let us know.

Returns & Exchanges

ALIRA Treasures is committed to providing perfect customer service and 100% satisfaction. We will gladly make an exchange or credit your account for any item with which you are not completely satisfied. Before returning your items, please review the following guidelines and contact us:

  • Please ship all returns to Alira Treasures, 151 Townsgate Drive, Unit 107, Thornhill, ON, L4J 8J7 Canada.
  • Sale and custom items are excluded from return or exchange.
  • Shipping and handling charges on all returned merchandise are non-refundable.
  • The item must be returned new and unworn, within 15 days of purchase, in original packaging and undamaged condition.
  • The shipping of the returned item is a responsibility of the customer. Please make sure to use bubble wrap or a padded envelope to prevent any damage during shipping and consider insurance, as we cannot be held responsible for any package lost or damaged during a return shipment.
  • If you choose to return an item , you will be credited upon our receipt of the item.
  • If you would like to exchange your item for another piece, please let us know. Your exchange will be shipped after we receive the returned item and shipping payment.
  • In the rare case that your item arrives damaged during shipping, please return it within 7 days and we will reimburse you the cost of shipping and send you new item. However, we are not responsible for items that have been lost, stolen, or damaged through misuse or neglect.
  • As long as there is no obvious misuse of the jewellery, we are able to repair any of our items free of charge for one year from the date of purchase. Shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
  • We do our best to provide excellent products and service to our customers, and are interested in the reason for your return. Your feedback is appreciated, and will help us provide better service in the future.

Item Damage & Repairs

We take all possible precautions to ensure that your items arrive to you in perfect condition, regardless of your purchase of shipping insurance. However, in the rare case that items get damaged during transit, we are only able to refund or replace insured items. Please return damaged insured items within 7 days of receipt for repairs or a replacement piece, and we will credit you the costs of return shipping. We are not responsible for items that are lost or damaged in return mail, so please insure your package and use a bubble-wrap mailer (sold at post offices and office supply stores).

Please keep in mind that natural materials can be fragile, and can be damaged through misuse or negligence. Unless stones are damaged during insured shipment, we are not able to offer free repair services, though we are able to repair pieces and replace broken stones for a negotiable price. In this case, shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
